It makes ice in the advertised time, it's way quieter than I thought and the ice lasts a good amount of time without melting in your drink, despite what others say of these little units. If you're worried this will not perform as well as other brands, don't be. I own several of these and they all work more or less just the same and as effective. I highly recommend it.

I love this little ice maker!

This is my second countertop ice maker. My last ice maker from a different manufacturer had to be replaced because the chrome plating came off the prongs that formed the ice. So based upon my experience with my last ice maker, I chose this one. It's easier to clean. I can see when it needs to be cleaned and the price was more than reasonable. It also comes with a easy to read instruction manual.
