With a Pitbull and a Great Dane, I was refilling water pans several times a day. Now I only have to refill the water bottle about every 2 1/2 days. I'm disabled, so that's a huge help. The waterer is light weight, basically no assembly, and appears to be sturdy enough. We've been using it for a couple of weeks, and all have enjoyed it. One thing to consider when you order is how much weight you can safely lift. Water weighs about 8 lb/gal. So the jug on this size weighs about 25 lbs when it's full. I would have ordered a bigger one, but I wouldn't have been able to lift it for refills. One of the great features about this waterer is offering several sizes to choose from.
