I have searched for a long time for an electric grill with removable plates that are easy to clean and dishwasher safe though I have yet to clean in dishwasher because it's so easy to hand wash. I tried the Hamilton Beach grill first, but it has metal clamps to hold grills in place and regardless of how careful you are you scratch the nonstick coating when removing and replacing and the cooking dials are very hard to read. This grill is awesome. I am very particular and cannot believe I am saying it...but I haven't any complaints, dislikes or concerns. I love it!
