I have now used the two 8-AMP batteries with my Ryobi lawnmower, blower, weed eater and edger. They do not last anywhere near the time of a Ryobi 8-AMP battery, but about the equivalent of a 4-AMP. They also weigh just a little less than a 4-AMP Ryobi battery. Otherwise, I have not had a problem with them, but DO NOT expect more time than a 4-AMP Ryobi battery.

I have a 7.5amp OEM battery to measure against. It's more than twice the size and weight of the 8amp batteries I received. I thought maybe the new batteries were a newer tech and their size smaller made no difference. I also recently bought a hedge trimmer with a 2amp battery. The 8amp batteries purchased from Walmart were just slightly larger than the 2amp battery and did not have the power of the 2amp battery nor the stamina. I have a small yard and the new fully charged batteries made only 1.5 passes around the outer parameter of my yard (yard is approx 20yrds x 15yrds). I finished the rest of the yard with the 7.5amp and the mower moved with much more power. 10 minutes of mowing per battery makes for a long day of yard work.
