Impressive monitor if it fits your use case

This monitor is impressive if it fits your use case. If you care about an inbuilt KVM switch, ethernet port, high PD thunderbolt 4, 16:9 4k 120Hz IPS black panel then THIS is the monitor for you. You can build a true 1 cable setup with this monitor and get rid of wire clutter altogether. My clutter free desk setup is as follows: - Dell U3225QE 32" 4K (main monitor) 120Hz - Dell S2723 27" 4k (side monitor, vertical) 60Hz - Logitech MX-3 mouse USB dongle attached to U3225QE - Logitech MX-Keys USB dongle attached to U3225QE - Benq ScreenBar Pro (on top of main monitor, plugged externally to power adapter) - 1 USB-c/Thunderbolt cable with PD that I plug to my work Macbook and also to personal Macbook depending on what I am working on. The first thing I did was to check for dead pixels and coil whine noise. It passed. I don't hear any noise. I'm using the provided usb-C cable and my Macbook M2 pro base model drives full 4k 120Hz (even VRR mode) like butter in addition to another 4k 60Hz Dell (S2723) which is vertically placed on the side. The 120Hz difference during normal tasks can be felt if you have a keen eye. Otherwise it is hard to notice. A decade ago 1080p was the norm for videos and 4k was a good to have. I feel that's the same thing with 60Hz and 120Hz here. 120Hz is for future proofing because there aren't many 120FPS content out there, yet. But if you use this monitor for console or PC gaming with a beast setup then you'll definitely be able to utilize that 120Hz screen well. I have LG C3 OLED TV so I know the difference between an OLED and VA and also limitations of IPS. This IPS "black" is slightly better than my S2723 model in terms of contrast but doesn't come close to OLED's deep black levels. But still my use-case is video editing and programming and lots of reading so I'd pick this IPS black over OLED any day. I also don't intend to game on this monitor. Overall this monitor is looking good so far. I am yet to leverage the main benefits (kvm, ethernet)... For my needs, this monitor is perfect. I know why I wanted this so badly and I am glad I have it!

Best Business Monitor

Best monitor out there for my needs. I had been on 27 inch HP that work gave me for three years and I just kept feeling I needed more space so I bought two of them I had been a Dell customer for 30 years having purchased my previous five laptops from them for personally use and finally decided to take a hard look at their monitors. I'm so glad of the decision I made. My eyes feel better and I'm getting more work done.. I would recommend the Dell U3225QE monitors to anyone that does serious multitasking and data analysis. However, I have lost much confidence in dealing with third-party suppliers that Walmart, Amazon, and Best Buy are so involved with. I had ordered these monitors from a third-party and they were so poorly prepared before shipping that they arrived with the boxes open.. I had experienced that before with two Dell 27 inch monitors the U2725QE. These had come from a different third-party supplier and they also arrived with the boxes open in the boxes. Beat up pretty bad as worth the 32s since I lost confidence with third-party suppliers. I ordered straight from Dell as I did, my laptop.. I would rather pay the extra price for peace of mind.
