Well built fan.

Pros: DBB (Double Ball Bearing) fan with both standard fan plug and 12volt molex adapter. manual speed control switch is a nice feature. Cons: none yet! Advice: Always go for ball bearing or better. Avoid cheap sleeve bearing fans as they have a shorter life expectancy. Why: I needed a couple case fans and I had a WM gift card. Thoughts: I would have appreciated cheaper shipping considering they cut costs by using USPS. Still got here quickly and in perfect condition.

Not cool enough...

This fan did not cool as much as expected even on the highest speed setting. It seemed to push out a lot of air but compared to the one that it was replacing, it was not equivalent. In addition, I used standard case fan hardware (attachment screws - not included) which went in extremely hard. I purchased this fan to replace an old used one I just installed to keep the temperature down. This was done after adding a fan-less video card. With no case fan I grew concerned with the video card temperature climbing to 131ºF. After adding the used fan, it brought it down to 113ºF - 118ºF, but it was rather loud. The Antec TriCool 80mm Double Ball Bearing Case Fan only cooled the GPU card to 122ºF - 126ºF which is not what I was hoping for. I put the old fan back in and returned the Antec TriCool and will just have to deal with the added db's...
