When closed, does not come up in the small window display like the Samsung version does so defeats the purpose

This is the second review which says the same thing as the first review. I purchased 2 cases and have been asked to review both. I purchased this Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Smart Phone Case for both my phone and my husband's. The cases look good, feel good, and fit our phones perfectly. However, they do not function as advertised. These cases require activation to display the caller ID, date, time, and notifications through the front window. No instructions were included, so we sought help from an AI platform, but even with guidance, the feature still did not work. When the cover is closed, the phone simply goes dark and goes into rest mode — the display never appears in the window. After researching further, we learned that Smart View–style cases must contain a built‑in NFC chip for the phone to recognize the cover and activate the smart display features. Many third‑party cases look like Smart View cases but do not include this chip. Unfortunately, these cases fall into that category. Without the chip, the smart features will never work. Because the case cannot be activated and does not perform the functions advertised, it is of no use to us. I am returning both cases.
