Too much shrinkage

I like the weight of the fabric (like a heavy t-shirt) but it shrank quite a bit lengthwise and now it is just barely the length I want. (I washed it in cold water and dried it on very low heat.) I buy knits expecting them to shrink a little but this one shrank too much.

Shrinkage

In general I like this sweatshirt but be aware- it shrinks substantially. Not so much in width but length of sleeves & length of torso. Mine shrunk about 2 inches in each area. I bought a size bigger so the shrinkage was not a big deal as 8t still fits fine. After washing the material Stiff & wrinkles

This should be put on a “don't buy” list.

The color is why I bought it. I like the blouse and sleeves. That's as far as it goes. I washed it in cold water. I did not use the dryer. It is unbelievable how much it shrank! I buy a lot of clothes on these sites but, I have never seen an item shrink this badly. Don't even bother to see for yourself because she will only throw your money away. If you were thinking of buying it, don't do it.
