I bought these shoes to replace a worn out pair of slip-ons I had. The soles are thicker than I like, but fashionable as they are making them like that these days. They are very comfortable, but if you don't want flashy, they are very sparkly! Not like sequins, but a close second. I have gotten used to the sparkly look now and have had compliments. Not sure they are the sporty look I was replacing, but they have grown on me due to being lightweight and comfortable. They die run a bit big for their size, so definitely order what you usually wear.
