It's very handsome, and not a bad price, but I didn't notice that it was just silver tone under gold plating. I figured for the price it would at least be sterling silver or stainless steel, so it would last longer. Most rings with silver tone only last a couple of years before tarnishing and turning fingers green. Hope my son likes it.
