The components came with clear instructions and were easy to assemble. It fits the passageway perfectly and can easily be put next to the wall when not in use. I like the fact that it weighs just right -- not too light nor not too heavy. The height is just right for our 3 small dogs and perhaps even medium-sized pets. It also blends well with the furniture. Overall, the gate serves our purpose and is a great value. My suggestion is for the company to make similar pet gates for outdoor use.
