Great lock
Install and operation were fairly straight forward. The only hitch was that the door had a deadbolt lock installed (inaddition to the door knob lock) that had to be removed and I had to fabricate a brass plate (cut down a push plate from Home Depot) to cover the inside and outside of the deadbolt lock holes in the door. So, if you have a door knob lock and a deadbolt lock installed in the door and don't want to go to the trouble of fabricating plates to cover the holes for the deadbolt lock (when you have to remove the deadbolt lock to install the electronic knob lock) - measure before you buy.

Excellent doorknob
This is an excellent doorknob. It has the feel of quality and locks and unlocks the doors just fine. I like the keypad AND the remote - this way it is harder to lock yourself out. The finish looks nice on my barn style house and I would purchase this exact same unit again...however you can find it ALOT cheaper at that "south american" store. :)

I bought this and its terrible i have to change the battery every 2 months. For reference both my kids have a brinks and only had to change once a year and only because they didnt want thiers to die. Dont waste your money. Emailed milock got one responce requesting model number sent it and no responce in 4 months so i called that was a week ago still no responce.
