The Luhr-Jensen Rattling J-Plug is 4 3/4 inch trolling plug designed for targeting king salmon. The J-Plug is designed to shimmy, dart, and swim around as it imitates a baitfish on the run for its life from the harsh jaws of big king salmon. With free sliding swivel-chain rigging located in the head of the lure, the buoyant body is allowed the freedom to swim with the reckless abandon that draws the attention of predators, even at blazing fast trolling speeds. Although made with late summer salmon in mind, the J-Plug can be trolled for striper, lake trout, and big brown trout too. The color selection is wide and includes an impressive array of Everglo finishes for attraction at day break and sunset, when salmon are most active, along with deep water depths where visibility is limited at all times of day.
