I 100% agree with other reviewers - this color was not as vivid as shown in the pictures. The pictures makes it look like a deep vibrant magenta leaning more towards pink vs. purple undertones and what arrived is what I would call a subdued rasberry that leaned more towards purple undertones, as my picture shows. That said, I was thrilled - the actual color is exactly what I had been looking for to match the room even more than the pictured color, and I couldn't find it anywhere. The cover itself is soft and of very good quality for the unbelievable price of $28.99 for the king size, including pillow cases! I had ordered another duvet cover at the same time from another source to compare, for 4x the cost, and I'm sending that back as this one is so much better. Liked it so much and the price is so reasonable that I just purchased a second as a spare. I'm assuming it will wash well and not shrink over time - material feels durable. One thing I will mention is that if you get water on it, it shows up dark but dries invisibly. Very happy with this purchase but I do think the photo needs to represent the exact color better as it sets a false expectation
