Great Beginner Model

These Snap-Tite kits are a good introduction to modeling. Parts are well manufactured and it comes with decals. This particular model looks good and was easy to construct. Good rendition of the actual Blue Angels F18.

Not very sturdy

I got this model because I love the Blue Angels. There are bumps on the jet that make the decals not very straight. The model is darker than the actual jets. The rear tail wings are wigly and the wheels on the landing gear keep coming off. If you buy this I would use glue. Over all it is a good project for beginers and very easy to put togehter.

low price, low quality

My dad is a retired Naval officer and I remember the Blue Angels performing for my school in San Diego when I was little so I thought this would be a nice Christmas gift. My dad doesn't have a lot of time so the "easy snap, no glue" construction was appealing. Unfortunately not all of the pieces fit well (one required a lot of presure to force it into place), there are gaps, and the plane comes loose from the base when you lift it up. I hadn't expected a lot given the price but it reminds me of products from dollar stores. Also, the plane is a darker blue than the product photos suggest. ***Note: the plane appears much darker in person than the photos suggest.***
