These were good!

These are delicious when cooked in a skillet with oil. If the oil is too hot they almost burn in seconds, oil too low and they are greasy. I warmed in micro wave for 30 seconds to make them more pliable. Heat 1/2 inch oil in skillet. Using tongs slowly slide in. 30-40 seconds on one side, flip to the other for same side and drain on paper towels . I bent mine slightly and weighed down with a fork to get the taco shape. You can heat in the oven or air fry too. I paired mine with Taco Bell taco mix and mild sauce.

Really good!

I just used our deep fryer at 350°... One minute on each side for a soft chewy texture that was spot on to copycat Taco Bueno's Muchaco, or a fast food version of an indian taco, if fried longer to brown and crisp them more they would make a good Taco Bell Chalupa copycat.... We prefer Bueno to Bell as far as restaurants go, probably because they actually cook the food from scratch vs heat and serve or add water to hydrate, making it just taste better. I have worked at both places giving me more inside info than I ever wanted when it comes to Bell... That said next time we might try making them more Bell style... They are expensive for what you get, but still worth getting once in a while as a treat.
