The wrapping also adds mild compression support. It can also pack a wound or be used as a primary or secondary dressing or to secure medical devices such as an I.V. or splint. This woven gauze roll has finished edges to prevent linting. When using the roll as a primary bandage, the 3-ply construction offers absorbent performance. The gauze creates a sterile environment to protect the wound. Each roll is packaged sterile to give assurance its void of microorganisms for improved healing.
