Didn't look like photos, still kept it

I spent a long time looking for the right light for our bathroom vanity. I settled on this one as a dupe for a more expensive name brand option. When it arrived I was disappointed. The finish was much lighter than I expected from photos. Maybe they sent the gold instead of brass? It looked cheap to me and just not what I was going for. I decided to return it, but the process of returning it was a hassle and it sat in my garage. I finally decided to get it back out and try it. It's grown on me and is an upgrade from what we had. While not all that I hoped for, the installation was quick and easy and I'm relieved to be done shopping for this light. Probably wouldn't order it again, but it wasn't worth returning either.
