Safety 1st Grow and Go™ 2-in-1 Belt-Positioning Booster Car Seat featuring ComfortWings, Beach Wave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm thankful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to try out this Safety 1st Grow and Go booster. As a parent of three kids, with my oldest almost 6, I've been using car seats for a while now. This is actually my first time using a booster seat, as I was still relying on a traditional car seat for my eldest. So, when it came time to make the switch, me and my kid were both excited. I decided to try out a car booster seat, and overall, it's been a great solution for our needs. One of the standout features of this booster seat is the expandable backrest wings. My kiddo absolutely loves them! They make the seat feel snug and secure, and I could see how the extra padding around the sides gave him more comfort, especially on longer rides. The wings add a nice layer of support, which I wasn't expecting to be so appreciated by my child. Another thing I really liked is the narrow profile of the booster. With three kids, space in the backseat is always at a premium. This booster helped create a bit more space for my other children, which was a major plus. The slim design ensures that I can fit all three kids in the back without it feeling cramped, which is something that can be tricky with bulkier car seats. It's incredibly easy for my child to sit down in the seat. There are no complicated straps or adjustments to deal with, which made transitioning from the car seat to this booster much smoother than I expected. It's straightforward for my little one to get in and out of the booster on their own, which is a big deal for a growing child. However, it would be really safe if booster had an extra lock or attachment system to secure it to the car seat itself. Being a first-time booster user, maybe it would help customers like me. Overall, this booster seat has been a great addition to our car. It's helped me transition my oldest child from a car seat to something more fitting for their size, and my kiddo is genuinely comfortable in it. I would recommend it to anyone as I am satisfied with it.

I really appreciate the overall design on this booster seat. It's very simple and functional and I particularly like the narrow profile which allows me to place the booster in the center seat, next to my other child's infant car seat, providing us with an empty, usable seat in the back row again. My child is on the lower end of the weight range for this product and they fit in the seat great, and I can see how the expandable design will allow them to use this booster for a long time. The seat was very way to install and I appreciate how lightweight and portable the overall seat is. I can see easily bringing this booster seat along for trips and travel. Most importantly, I'm confident that my child is safe, secure and comfortable. I haven't yet needed to use the expandable wings, but I see this being a very useful feature to extend the life of the product. Most of all, I like that this product has a relatively long useful period and that it will continue to grow with my child.
