I love this bulb when purchased form GE

I purchased 2 extra bulbs on line a long time ago. used both over the years. this year the WB08x10051 Halogen went out in Microwave light. But ones I purchased at local stores with GE symbol only lasted 2 weeks. why is there such a difference normally a year before replaced. Still a G8 bought 2 pack and both out. can I order from you and get better product?

COMPLAINT ABOUT PART SUPORT

Over-the-Range Microwave - Replacing Halogen Lights Many over-the-range microwaves have halogen lights. Below are tips for replacing these lights. For specific instructions for replacing the interior and/or surface lights, consult the Owner's Manual. For general directions, visit: Over-The-Range Microwave Interior Lamp Replacement When replacing the halogen lamps: First be sure to turn the lights off and disconnect power. This is for your protection, as well as protecting the microwave. Use gloves or a cloth when removing any bulb that is still operating so you don't burn yourself. When installing a new bulb, DO NOT touch it with your bare hands. Oil from your skin will cause early failure of the bulb. Always wear clean gloves or use a clean cloth when installing these bulbs. Halogen lamps come in a variety of sizes, types and attachment methods. Replace your bulbs with the same voltage and wattage recommended. DO NOT EXCEED the maximum wattage recommended. Failure to heed this warning can result in bulb or fuse failures.

not bright enough.

Just purchased this oven and the bottom light is only about half as bright as our old microwave surface light. The old one had two standard appliance bulbs. I took the cover off hoping to find a burnt-out bulb but found the single halogen bulb instead. I don't know if it is the 40 or 50 watt model. Hoping it is the 40 watt and I can replace it. Otherwise we will be a bit disappointed with that feature. We do like the microwave other than that but count on the surface light to be bright enough to see our food cooking on the stove.
