They sell this like it's liquid gold, and I've never seen a smaller tube in my life. But, if you use it on the first sign of a fever blister/cold sore, it will usually go away before it becomes noticeable.

Relief for my cold sore and my wallet.

I don't get cold sores often, but they are so miserable that I am quick to look for relief when I do get one, usually after another illness of some sort. I have always used Abreva, but it was/is so expensive that I found myself scrimping on the amount I applied. Not so with this cream from Taro. It has the same ingredients in the same percentage as the original, yet costs only about 1/4 as much as it did. So I can get 4 tubes of the same medicine for not much more than the cost of one tube of Abreva. I squirted a little out (yes, it is inexpensive enough that I did not mind doing that) and took a pic so that you can see the creamy appearance, and that it spreads nicely. Creamy is nice on a painful cold sore. It doesn't have an applicator. You just squeeze a little on your finger tip and apply to affected area. I find the relief and healing time to be the same as the other...I guess because it is the same medicine. This is made in Canada, which has a good reputation for medicines. This will be the brand that I buy from now on.

I woke up with a big cold sore on my lip, haven't been feeling well. Tried campo and many other selections, even the blister bandages and…not any improvement! Found this and applied once delivered and it's already showing a big improvement! I'm amazed! Nasty things! lol I'll be buying extra for the medicine cabinets…and you should too!
