My son is currently between a size 7 and eight in pants. These medium-size red shorts were a big hit. My son is on the taller side for his age and these hit right about at the kneelength. They are very soft and comfortable. They're perfect for lounging around the house or playing sports outside with friends. The major plus for us was the pockets because some athletic shorts don't come with them. These shorts have two very deep pockets.

These are the AND1 boys basketball short in the basketball length size S (6/7) in red with black and white detailing. My child normally wears a 5T but is moving up in size. He is 46” and about 43 pounds so these are a bit big on him but also perfect as there is room for him to grow and they are not so big that they fall off. The waistband has an elastic drawstring so you can tighten the waist. My child loves the comfortable loose fit, the soft mesh fabric and that these shorts have pockets.
