Not the carport for my area

After opening the instructions, the first thing it says is not to use where there may be bad weather, like hard rain, snow or winds. I live in Missouri and we have that type weather often. The tarp was lightweight but did fit the frame nicely. The tiedowns were very light weight and guessing they would do very little good in a 30-50 mph wind. I used para cord to re-enforce between the roof poles so the rain wouldn't pool on the tarp. Ultimately, I put the tent on Marketplace and sold it for less than purchase price feeling like it was not heavy enough to do the job. To me, I felt like I had wasted my time and money.
