My 76 year old husband put this together by himself, there was some hammering and swearing involved but not a lot. I did have to help with the lid. He has an electric drill and that made it easier. This box is large and heavy when you receive it and after it's put together. I thought I probably could have bought a smaller one but glad I didn't. We certainly don't have to worry about the wind carrying it way or moving it around. Confident this storage box will last for years.

Excellent quality HUGE deck box!
Shipped Fed Ex a huge plus and no damage. This box is gigantic and very heavy. It does take two people to assemble at least for the lid installation. Incredible quality and looks like a fine piece of furniture. Divider is very useful and the entire box is extremely durable. Much better quality than our old Sun Cast. A rubber mallet comes in very handy in the assembly. Mounted inexpensive motion detection LED lights on the inside of lid that lights up the entire box at night when the lid is opened. Perfect seal and NO water gets into the box. Great for pool towels etc.
