Sheds badly

This is the most beautiful rug. I absolutely adore how it looks. But I am so heartbroken because it sheds so so badly. I've had the rug for two years now and the wool hairs still get everywhere. If anyone sits on it or anything, it looks like they sat in a dog bed. It makes me feel dirty and for that, I'm sadly fed up and getting a new rug.
