Instructions
Shake bottle well before use. Measure only with dosing cup provided. Do not use dosing cup with other products. Dose as follows or as directed by a doctor. Adults and children 12 years of age and over: 10 mL every 12 hours, not to exceed 20 mL in 24 hours. Children 6 to under 12 years of age: 5 mL every 12 hours, not to exceed 10 mL in 24 hours. Children 4 to under 6 years of age: 2.5 mL every 12 hours, not to exceed 5 mL in 24 hours. Children under 4 years of age: do not use. Store at 20 degrees-25 degrees C (68 degrees-77 degrees F).

Great relief
He came down with a respiratory affection a couple days ago, and I was coughing uncontrollably for a long time since taking Delsym my coughing has stopped quite a bit and today I checked, and it looks. They're just looking at the color of the phlegm, which is was brown now it's getting much lighter and turning to white where it should be so it looks like the Delsym has worked pretty well.

Works for dogs too!!
My 13 year old dog started coughing fairly frequently and when I took her to see our vet, he advised me to get Children's Delsym for her. I did what he suggested and it works to settle her cough. Because it is for children, it is just right for my Lexi.

Delsym is the only brand for cough relief
Most cough syrups only last 4-6 hours. I like the fact it lasts 12 hours, longer than other brands. Because it lasts longer, you take less medicine which makes this a good value. My kids thought the grape flavor was better than the orange. I give it to my kids before they go to school & they won't need a 2nd dose until after we get home. It comes with its own dosage cup & the measurements are easy to read.
