CS5 Review

But this product. If you want a BASIC understanding of CS5 and some great insight into some basic (to high level) editing processes, this is for you. It is for beginners (in my opinion) that have a basic understanding of Adobe photoshop already. Adobe's site offers this book for well over $50 plus shipping. I ordered it, had it delivered to a Wal-Mart and picked it up for about $35. Use the site to store functionality. Works great and the price was on point. Thanks!

it's a book

This is a book, you can only gain the knowledge within by reading. If you would like to learn Photoshop and you can read, then I would hasten to recommend this book to you. If you do not have a computer, then this book will, in all likelihood, do you no good whatsoever, the ability to read notwithstanding. If you have no computer, then I would say you should go and purchase one. If you cannot afford one, I would recommend you obtain more gainful employment or a line of credit at, say, Fry's or Best Buy. I have as yet been unable to complete the book and the lessons therein, but already have a familiarity with this program. I am stoked at the prospect of obtaining proficiency with this software. I include a couple of my first attempts, one a pic of the missus and myself where I needed to lose 400+ pounds (brother and sister-in-law), the other my dog's rear with sunglasses. The latter is my Facebook Poker avatar. Have fun!
