Kershaw Leek Pocket Knife, 3" Blade with Assisted Opening

I always carried Benchmade and German-made Boker pocket knives until I got a Leek at a company Christmas party about ten years ago. The gifter told me it was his favorite knife, so I tried it. Within a year my son, daughter, and wife all had a Leek in various colors. It is still my favorite knife, and I just bought four at this great price to give as Christmas gifts this year. I am still carrying the one I got at the party. I took the clip off mine so it is flat in my pocket. You don't see the clip in the picture, but it has a strong, thin steel clip that looks and works great, if you like a clip. This knife looks expensive and classy, will last you for years, has the best assisted opening mechanism made for under $400, and is a great value for $55-$60, which is what it has cost for years. When my wife found these on Walmart.com for less than $30, I bought one to see why it was so low. I expected that Kershaw was having them made in China, but these are USA made like always, and are just like the ones I have bought before. So I got three more. The Chive, a smaller knife of the same pattern, is also of the same high quality, but my wife and daughter went back to the larger Leek after a while. The Leek is just about perfect, and it is the least expensive knife I have bought in years. If you are interested enough to have read this far, buy this knife. Get two if you can. It is a great gift for someone you want to impress.
