I need a futon, because my dogs and girlfriend tend to kick me out of bed, but I've always resented how ugly futon couches tend to be. Not this one. Courdoroy adds so much texture, on top of the faux-armrests. This little thing does so much to evoke the aesthetics of a couch.

I bought it on sale, good futon for that price. Modern style and super easy to assemble . I loved the look. I just wish they had extended the corduroy on the sides, so that the black did not show when the arm rests are up.

I love that the couch can move up/down separately from the other side, %26 the arm rests can also be adjusted up or down. The length is also perfect as it fits anyone under 6'1 laying down comfortably. The ONLY issue I have is that when the couch is laid out into the bed position, there is one spot directly in the middle that feels like you're laying directly on a steel pole 😮‍💨 it's fixed with a simple memory foam pad under the cushion, but still wish the actual couch cushion was a little more padded itself
