Beautiful dishes! However, the color is not as shown. If you see a creamy white and almost wood grain stain, they have more color than that. Someone else mentioned a green color. The plates are a little more brown than white and the green mentioned is a faded green pearl effect around the rim. I think they are wonderful but it was different than it looked on website. They can be dressed up or down. They were packed very well but i still received a chip bowl and am hoping i can get a replacement. This type of glazed pottery does have a tendency to chip. The price is cheaper than the quality and I would buy again.
