Love this stuff! I'm really pale and use the medium shade. I exfoliate, apply with a mitt, leave it on for 3-4 hours, rinse with no soap, sleep, and shower again in the morning. I've never had issues with it being uneven, streaking, or orange. It also fades so gradually that I don't have weird patches. Lasts up to a week as advertised but obviously fades a little at a time. I've used bondi, isle of paradise etc. and this works best for me personally. With the others I always end up with dark spots on my elbows, armpits, hands, wrists, and knees, this has never happened with this product so far which has been amazing. I have yet to try layering it. One layer isn't a dramatic difference, but as a pale girly I'm not trying to be super dark out of nowhere. It's definitely worth it. A lot of these reviews are bad.. and I think it's just a skill issue. I've done the routine above several times and have had no issues. It's cheap and somehow better than the more expensive self tanners in my opinion. I recommend it to people all of the time. Don't let the poor reviews sway you, as long as you do it right, you will look great:)

I always get color from this and its never been orange. It also fades very nicely, and I have almost the pales skin a person can have and legs so white they resist tanning in nature and the tanning beds. You just have to follow the directions on the bottle and maybe do a little research before showering and applying anything else over the tanner. Although, side point, I do use the Deep Dark self tanner, so maybe that's why it shows up so well .
