Kelly spent her entire life believing she had a rare seizure condition that only a few others shared. Despite her illness, she had become an accomplished artist, but still couldn't seem to break out of the protective bubble her parents had erected around her. When she meets Dean on a vacation that she takes against her parents wishes everything changes. Dean turns her whole world upside down and the rareness of her illness is only the start to the questions she finds she needs answers to. Dean is a member of a hidden in plain sight secretive group called the SEGT. When he meets Kelly at his parents' lodge, he is instantly pulled towards her by his ability. The SEGT is full of people with special abilities like Dean's and he is positive that Kelly belongs in the group, too. Will Dean be able to help her or will the secrets he keeps about his ability and the SEGT only complicate her whole life more? Her search for answers will open up a closet full of lies she may not be prepared to handle.
