Are you looking for the pitcher you grew up with? Well you have found it and I am so happy I found it! The one I grew up with held half a gallon. This is a gallon size. This is great if you don't want to have to keep filling it up and/or have a large family. Of course, you can fill it just half way if you like. The top twists to closed, open (to pour) and strained ( slits in case you have ice in it and don't want it to splash into your cup. I love it !!
