I unfortunately lost one of these while on a trip to England so this purchase is to replace it. Since all of my attachments are designed for the older Hero Black I opted to purchase this one instead of the new version for nearly the same price.

Hero4 black is the best

I owned every GoPro since the first one. Do yourself a favor when buying this model. Get an extra battery because this model is twice as powerful as the 4 Silver. I also bought an LCD touchscreen backpack for my older models and it also fits this model. My only complaint is that I wasn't offered an extended warranty. It hasn't been 15 days yet so I might return it and buy another one with the warranty if they won't let me get one now .

Picture Quality, AMAZING!!

I am very impressed at how clear the videos came out, its like actually being there. I used this camera on my honeymoon adventures freediving down to 20 to 25 feet with no outer case and had no water leakage. Microphone is very sensitive, so sensitive you hear sounds underwater.
