Not the best value for the money

Believe it or not, cost IS a consideration. I have found a better deal on green split peas. Less than $1 per pound is better, from the buyer's point of view, than more than $3/pound. The nutritional value of the two foods is similar, and this offering is definitely not the best bang for the buck.
