I'm a long-time fan of the Weathershield HP car covers. I have one for each of my 4 cars. They do an excellent job of keeping my cars clean. I'm particularly fond of being able to wash the covers in my home washing machine so that whenever I clean my cars I am putting a freshly cleaned cover on them. For those cars I keep garaged, the covers last indefinitely and act as a dust cover and keep my cats from walking right on the paint surface. For those cars I keep outdoors 24/7, the covers are excellent at repelling water for about the first 8 - 9 months before the repellancy is lost. The covers last for about a year outdoors full-time before they need replacement. If the car is outdoors during the day but garaged at night the covers hold up about 18 months. The sun and moisture will wear down the thread used for the seams as well as breaking down the cover material to the pont that it becomes easily torn. Despite requiring somewhat frequent replacement for outdoor use, I feel the protection they provide the car is well worth the expense. When it comes time to sell my cars I easily recoup my costs. I've purchased at least 15 of these covers over the last decade and will continue to do so as long as they make them.
