Not only is it a beautiful fan it is pretty powerful as well. I have it in my bedroom and it does a great job of keeping me cool. My only complaint is that is does make a loud sound when turning it off or moving if from the highest speed to a lower speed. It could be the way it was installed but I'm not sure.
