Although Guayaki products are better than other energy drinks available on the market, the company just changed their carbonated energy drinks. They changed their grapefruit ginger, which was delightful and had only 45 cal and 80 mg of caffeine to a barely drinkable, strong grapefruit which is 70 cal and has 115 mg of caffeine in it. Worse flavor, more calories, too much caffeine for me. I don't get the nice and gentle energized feeling from this drink anymore. Also, they changed from agave syrup %26 stevia lead extract to cane sugar. Bad move, Guayaki! I reached out to the company and they have not responded.

First of all, the Grapefruit Ginger that's pictured and that I ordered was not what was delivered. A new “Yerba MADRE”, not Yerba Mate is the name and the flavor is Sparkling Grapefruit, not Grapefruit Ginger. It tastes more like peach because that new flavor is prominent in the list of ingredients. ALSO, they want me to return the opened cases to a Walmart! (I didn't recognize the new deceptive-looking cans until I had almost filled the fridge with the individual cans. I know they cannot re-sell these because cases are opened. I had them delivered because I am old and cannot wield them to and fro like I used to. Bad customer service and experience all around.
