Chief White Star opened his eyes and looked around, all was quiet, Wurteh, at her age still insisted on preparing the morning meal. Juniata was in the White Village, though there were only a few that could be considered white, Her son George, named for his father, a minister, George Guest who had been killed years ago by a jealous warrior. Little George had turned out to look more like his father than Juniata. He is thin, has brown curly hair, and light skin. People cannot tell he is part of the Cherokee. When he was growing up, he was all man, good at all the games, and trained to be a warrior. He fought in several wars with the Creeks, but he was never happy, he had learned English and how to read from his father's Bible. He knew all he could from the book and McKinna until he asked questions even he could not answer. When he was grown we took a trip to Savanna, to see the Church where his father stayed when he arrived from England. The Minister was so impressed with George's knowledge, that he requested he stay and study there. George felt that was what he wanted, at least to find out if it was for him. Juniata did not want to leave him so she also stayed. The Minister's home was located next to the church and he offered George and his mother a room and they both studied for many moons. Finally, George returned to the White Village and took over the Church his father had built long before.
