The bag was easy to put on the car and the mat that goes on bottom kept it in place. The bag is well made. My husband was surprised that it held thru the wind and rain. It fit everything we had so we had plenty of room in the car for the kids. The only thing we disliked was the lock. We still can't get it to work.
