I liked this item so much I bought a second one. I keep one in the hallway and I keep another in a bathroom. The battery life lasts a good while. I like that it's portable and has a hook on the bottom in case you need to hang it. The only thing I wish was different I wish it had an 8-hour timer. The max timer on this one is 6 hours. the 6-hour timer shuts off with it's still being dark outside in the morning. I would recommend this
