Eastwood Spot Weld Pliers

I purchased for use on my Lincoln MiG 100 Weldpak, it works very well on 16 and 18 guage mild steel, I drill a 3/16” hole through top piece, set gas at 10, wire at 4 3/4 and C for amps, clamp pieces together, cut .030 wire flush with nozzle, center on hole and trigger for 1 plus seconds, instant weld done! I am sure it will do the same job on thinner mild steel with different settings from above info., “practice makes perfect”

Bought the spot welder kit and even though I did not use the pliers for this application, the tip worked perfectly. I watched the two videos on the product, especially the Eastwood Live video that demonstrated how to use it and the first time, with no practice, I did 12 nearly perfect spot welds.
