Great Action Movie

Shooting sequences are phenominal. Director John Woo and Actor Chow Yun Fat are sensational. A must have for action movie goers.

Great Action Flick

If you are new to John Woo's Hong Kong movies. This is the one to start with. Action just about end to end with a violent and almost "operatic" ending. The blu-ray edition is very nice with even a few deleted scenes.

Dragon Dynasty Blu Ray...

This classic is what put John Woo on the international map as a renowned action movie director. However this blu ray version is an absolute mess, viewing quality worse than the dvd. In order to give the illusion of higher resolution, the scenes were blown up and trimmed, particularly noticeable in unnaturally large facial views with tops of heads lopped off. As an Asian movie fan, I have a large collection of Dragon Dynasty dvds and this is the first and LAST I will attempt to upgrade to blu ray.
