Hob - From Ambient - Preferred Method. Rice Range Top Directions. - What You Need -. 2 tablespoons butter or margarine. 2 cups water. In a large skillet, combine rice-pasta mix and butter or margarine. Saut over medium heat until rice mixture is golden brown, stirring frequently. Slowly stir in water and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 15 minutes. Stir in Special Seasonings. Cover; simmer 10 to 15 more minutes or until rice is tender. 3 cups prepared. Enjoy! Microwave - From Ambient - In 2-quart microwaveable bowl, combine rice-pasta mix and 2 tablespoons butter or margarine. Microwave uncovered at High 1 minute. Stir. Microwave at High 1-2 more minutes or until pasta is golden brown. Remove and stir in 3 cups water. Cover; microwave at High 15 minutes. Stir in Special Seasonings. Cover; microwave at High 10 minutes or until rice is tender. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Microwave ovens vary; adjust times as needed. Less Fat Directions:. Follow Range Top or Microwave Directions, except substitute butter with tablespoon olive oil. Fat reduced to 3g from 7g per serving. Saturated Fat reduced to 0g from 2g per serving. Trans Fat reduced to 0g from 1g per serving. 25 calories form fat per serving.

The Best Flavor - Amazing by itself, but in a pinch, add a can of green peas, and a can of chicken when you are adding in the seasoning. Let it simmer for the remainder of the time and you have a delicious, nutritious, and filling meal
