Back Relief
These floor tiles are thin, but still still provide plenty of fatigue relief. There are 6 squares per pack covering a little over 6.5 feet if placed single file, or covering an approximate 3.5x3.5 foot section if doubled side by side. (this is what we did) The pattern is a neat, stone-looking design offering a non-slick working surface. I would (will) definitely purchase more.

Great Flooring for Garage of Gym
The Norsk Rhino-Tec Sport Floor square tiles are great for a garage or gym floor. I connected six tiles together to use under a weight bench. The tiles are very strong, yet can flex a little if you have a slight bubble in the carpet or other feature in the floor. There is a pebble-like texture on each tile to make them slip resistant. Each tile connnects to the other like a puzzle piece. I used a mallet to make sure each connection was secure. This did not damage to the tiles and you can't even tell that I used a mallet. The tiles are very strong. It will be hard to damage them. You can feel confident placing heavy items on top of the tiles. The tiles didn't budge when I placed the weight bench on top of them. They look professional in our workout room. You can feel confident that whatever you place on top of the tiles, your floor underneath will be protected. I highly recommend these tiles and will definitely purchase more in the future.

good for exercise equipment like a bike
The "Norsk NSMPRT6BLK Rhino-Tec Sport Floor PVC Tiles, 13.95-Square Feet, Black, 6-Pack" requires a rubber mallet to connect the pieces together. These are thick and very heavy squares. They cannot be connected together by hand, but once they are connected they are not going to be moving around. The edge pieces do not come in this set either so those will need to be purchased separately to make it look nice. I was planning to use this for floor exercises but once it arrived I realized I got the wrong kind of flooring, but that is my fault. So the new plan was to put my exercise bike on it to protect my actual flooring. These would also be great in the garage. The directions say to leave these in a moist free environment for 48 hours prior to installing. They do smell a little coming out of the box so I had no issues letting them air out before connecting them together. One of the features I like best is the air-dry technology so the subfloor is protected and I don't have to worry about moisture. These are easy to clean and don't require anything special to do so.
