This is just what I was looking for at a price I was willing to pay. Separately, the cables needed to do what this one does would have cost at least 50% more. And, it worked perfectly.
Did what I needed it to do
I use this to connect my laptop to an inexpensive (few features or inputs) flat screen tv to play movies for someone who is bedridden. Works fine for this purpose.
Did not connect laptop to TV
I ordered this cable to connect my laptop (S video) to my TV (rca). This cable only converted the sound to rca and the S video connected to S video.
