We had to change to 4" piping on our pellet stove so we bought this adapter. 3" for the stove to 4" for the pipe. Unfortunately the item we received did not fit. It was 3 1/2 ",not 4". I did not attempt to return it for the correct part because we had to get the stove going. It is Jan in Michigan. We had to adapt the adapter to fit. Disappointed
