Old School Disney

My husband and I went to see this movie in the theater not long after he got back from Iraq. He plays clarinet and we both enjoy jazz music. Combine that with our enjoyment of classically illustrated Disney films and we were really expecting and hoping for a lot from this film. We were really impressed with the movie, but more than anything we really enjoyed the music. There were hints of musical numbers from old favorites that you can just barely hear through the cover of jazz music, and the traditional bad guy's anthem just oozed with the sounds of ones before it- granted with a bit of a New Orleans twist. Over all, my husband and I loved the movie and the music so much that we knew we'd buy them both at first chance- in fact this cd was my Valentine's gift to him. If you love jazz (and more importantly classic Disney movie scores- circa Sherman brothers) I would DEFINITELY recommend this one for your collection!
