I just bought these boots recently. I knew they were good because a friend and her husband have a pair each! I love the insulated lining! It has been REALLY cold in my area, and we had several more inches of snow than my shorter boots can handle. These boots are a game changer. I don't know how they stay so CLEAN! Any dirt or snow just falls right off them. The traction is great and gives me confidence when I take my dog outside. She loves to play in the snow. I do not! These boots help make it bearable, though.
