Has no flavour or colour or any other weird stuff added. This means that I am able to control whatever things I want to put it into, or whatever I want to put into it. I only ever use the powder inside smoothies that I make in a high speed blender, so I caan't speak to how good or not good it is at dissolving into liquids. What I can say is that it seems to suck up any sweetness that's found in the fruit that you add to your smoothie, so a bit of agave nectar usually corrects for any such issues I have with how neutral everything ends up tasting after I've added the protein powder to my smoothie. That said, the texture is not at all gritty or invasive. Throw in a reasonable amount into a smoothie (like 1 scoop or so in a 4 cup blender) and it should be fine. If you're adding more to a smaller quantity, you're probably going to notice the texture a lot harder. I don't use the protein powder for body building or whatever, but rather to add a bit of nutrition to my morning smoothie, so that when I have it on the train or whatever, I don't feel hungry as soon as I get to work.
